Happy Monday!

Awkwardness + Nervousness + A Little Imagination =

Freddie Mercury would be proud.

Will you be a rock star today and this week?

Happy Monday!

The Unexpected Thrill of Singularity

While it’s a good thing not all movies are made in this format, it’s a blessing that one film every so often is bravely written and acted within such a simple and isolated storytelling dynamic.

Driving at night with a hands-free phone.

That’s it.

Ironically, this mundane, constrained seat appears to be the perfect setting for a nerve-racking, pulse-pounding thrill ride.

It’s called Locke and it features the talented, yet under-the-radar star Tom Hardy. Although it had an April 25th release date, it’s now entering major theaters, like in Columbus, Ohio. Be sure to check your local listings.

What’s driving you this weekend?

The Beautiful Match?

It’s Friday night. People are out. Candles are lit. Magic is in the air, but will Houdini show up and put on a show for the ages or will it be the neighborhood rookie attempting a performance far beyond his skill-set?

Either way, there’s only one man who can tell this story as it happens without getting the least bit nervy.

In the play-by-play sense, he’s a player in his own right.

Talk about pulling out a Diego Forlán in stoppage time.

Gol!

Happy Monday!

Yesterday was not only the Star Wars holiday “May The 4th Be With You” Day, but it was also the birthday of a movie and fashion icon: the adorably beautiful and wonderfully quirky Audrey Hepburn.

She would have been 85 today.

Audrey Hepburn stole the hearts of countless men and was the admiration of countless women who were equally drawn to her infectiously playful spirit, impeccable style and infinitely illuminating smile and charm. Audrey Hepburn seemingly had it all, which she put on full-display in cinematic classics like Roman Holiday, Funny Face, How to Steal a MillionSabrina, My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (to name only a few). The latter film, of course, inspired the 1995 song of the same name by the band Deep Blue Something.

Plus, don’t forget her Oscar win for Roman Holiday!

To pay a tribute to her today, below is a short video showcasing some of her most memorable moments from her most memorable role.

The illustrious Audrey Hepburn will live on forever, admired in the most classic and beautiful ways imaginable, as well as in the most fun and lovingly silly ways imaginable.

Just like her.

Happy Monday & Happy Belated Birthday Audrey Hepburn!
