A Must-See Curtain Call
Cheers to Frasier, the show born out of a familiar name,
led Frasier, Niles, Marty, Eddie, Roz, Daphne, tossed salads and scrambled eggs to eternal fame
But before the beer and sherry can be drunk, everyone must get a ride to the show,
this is where taking a Taxi comes in handy, like a regular Joe
Mike & Molly will need a ride and be sure to cut them some slack,
news of being cancelled is sad, until they see…just Jack!
Then there’s this bang that’s pretty big, with science and comic books galore,
knock three times and you might be surprised at who opens that purple door…
The legendary sitcom director James Burrows is being celebrated by his extended, iconic NBC family later this month during a television special. James Burrows was the man behind the camera of some of the biggest and best sitcoms in television history. He framed some of the shows during NBC’s supreme, “Must See TV” era, including the famous yellow door frame from Friends.
Celebrating his storied legacy in television directing seems like a pretty good place to get together an incredible cast of favorite TV stars who are best known as cherished characters in our hearts. This gathering will, in fact, include renowned characters Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey and Phoebe together, in one place, akin to a coffee house couch on NBC.
Chandler’s in England for a play…
and Boddingtons Pale Ale.
Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s a day when we say thanks, eat a grand feast with family, watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade…
and are reminded that Detroit has a professional football team.
Today is a wonderfully chaotic celebration. Delicious food is eaten and entertaining anecdotes are shared. As my mom would say with a grin, it’s a day for “forced family fun.” It’s also a day for surprise fun with friends.
And yes, that includes everybody’s favourite group of friends.
Here’s to you having a “The One With” kind of Thanksgiving!
Happy Monday!
As we begin this new workweek, it’s critical to make the right decisions. This cannot be stressed enough. Moments will arise and we must carefully examine our choices. We don’t always know at first glance or thought where we could end up.
Just some friendly advice.
Yes, patience is definitely a virtue.
Here’s to a Great Week of Clarity!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Today, we will all gather around the dinner table of that brave soul who willingly volunteered to host Thanksgiving with our family and friends to give thanks for the many blessings in our lives. Feasts will overwhelm kitchens with each family’s special touch. This may pertain to cranberry sauce that is prepared beyond just shimmying it out of the can, potatoes with or without lumps or that special dessert from a family recipe with that quintessential whipped cream dollop.
Regardless of the shouting, screaming and crying (and don’t forget about the children), the varying successes and failures throughout today will perfectly define Thanksgiving for us all. But, when all the food is eaten, the dishes cleared (not yet cleaned, but cleared) and people’s adrenaline levels have subsided, then that special bonding moment can begin with either a visit to the movie theater or an in-home entertainment presentation.
From my family to yours, here’s a little insight (or appetizer if you will) to what really brings joy to our world (drum beat please!).
Don’t forget about those in-laws…
Happy Thanksgiving!
P.S. We all know the scene below is when we learned what it is in turkey that makes us drowsy:
