Your Childhood on the Silver Screen

Jimmy’s Daily Planet keeps up with new movie trailers. I also have lots of young nieces and nephews.

Featuring a brand new trailer from Disney, today’s blog post is for them.

And Disney’s Christopher Robin is for anybody with an active, playful imagination.

He Lost the Battle & Saw the Wars

Kelsey Grammer is the quintessential sitcom actor. But the crazy thing is that Kelsey Grammer was not that far off from not being a beloved TV star, as revealed in a recent chat with Conan O’Brien.

Whoa.

Speaking as a Kelsey Grammer fan, I’m not quite sure if the role of the smuggling badass named Han Solo would have been right for the actor best known as Frasier Crane. On the other hand, Mr. Grammer is a brilliant actor with a wide-range of talent (ie – Boss on Starz several years back).

I’ll need a few more (par)secs to decide.

David Spade’s Middle Seat Observations

Wherever David Spade is being David Spade is where you want to be. Unless it’s Macy’s or a Southwest flight.

David Spade’s conversational comedic timing and delivery are why he is a legitimate SNL legend. His punchlines are cleverly disguised for a hilarious impact that works like the Energizer bunny.

Or like the unrestricted turnstile ticket sales strategy for any Southwest flight. Either one keeps going and going and going.

Speaking of which…

Happy Monday

The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this past Saturday was a beautiful celebration of love that was undoubtedly an international sensation. Akin to Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, the traditional aspects of the day were orchestrated to perfection, whilst also creating unexpected, cheerful notes of memorable improvisation (the partly toothless boy grinning ear-to-ear behind Meghan Markle).

But did you know there was a royal song? Now you do thanks to Cord and Tish.

Well…that is technically a song.

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.
