Happy Veterans Day!
Today, November 11th, we pay tribute to the American men and women who have served and sacrificed for the United States of America. These brave men and women have protected the freedoms we enjoy everyday and, for that, we are forever grateful.
To live in a country where we have come to know that our fellow citizens and neighbors will always protect us, no matter what, is a truly special feeling and honor.

I was recently talked into moving furniture from the first floor to the dreaded second floor of a house. While the house was not located in New York City, the stairway was surprisingly narrow. Actually, the stairway became narrow when helping to carry up a large dresser, an adult-sized mattress and the head board for a bed frame.
One single word came to mind when this was occurring. Just one word.

Halftime shows at Ohio State football games cannot be described as uneventful.
This past Saturday, while the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions were preparing for the third quarter, the Ohio State Marching Band once again had something spectacular planned.

Fall has arrived. There is a distinct chill in the air, especially in the early morning. Snow isn’t far away. As we all know, we must be prepared to wear the proper attire when the seasons change.
This is especially true if you find yourself in and around the Rocky Mountains during the months when Mother Nature casts her snowy blanket over everything in sight.
