Happy Monday
For a bit of good news today, below is a video with Academy Award winning actor Matthew McConaughey answering as much as he’s permitted to about his upcoming starring role in the highly-anticipated Christopher Nolan film Interstellar at this year’s Comic Con held earlier this summer.
Sans the much colder weather, November 7th cannot come soon enough:
Happy Monday!
RIP Joan Rivers
The best (and funniest) comedians and comediennes not only make us laugh and reflect on the world we live in, but they connect with their audiences in ways that are meaningful and sustaining.
Our attention doesn’t end with the punchline.
For many fans and those in the stand-up industry, Joan Rivers was a pioneer for female comics, comics in general and, well, she was just a damn funny woman! But her legacy will reach far beyond the jokes that made us laugh. Recently during The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon paid an emotional tribute to Joan Rivers by explaining the sincerity and kind words said by the adored comic during his first night of hosting “the show” of late night, her first appearance on The Tonight Show in decades.
RIP Joan Rivers.
Happy Throwback Thursday
As the weekend is fast approaching and since there was a totally awesome 2-hour Goldbergs marathon last night on ABC, it’s only right that Beverly Goldberg herself provide us all with a little guidance in the dancing department:
FYI – Beverly’s slow dance is known as, “The Snuggle Monster.”
