Happy Monday!

A “Happy Monday!” blog post of Jimmy’s Daily Planet will help you watch the brand new trailer for the forthcoming Disney live-action film ‘Mary Poppins Returns.’

This looks like a great family movie to see with my young nieces. And I’ll be sure to play my part and feed them a bag of Skittles a spoonful of sugar before returning them to their parents because, well, that’s what good uncles do!

‘Mary Poppins Returns’ to movie theaters on December 19.

Happy Monday!

Tuxedo season is upon us.

The first few days of fall when the weather begins to pivot towards snow flurries (“Winter is coming…”) confirms the holiday season is here and that we must bundle up like the little brother in A Christmas Story. You can already here that cry in the distance:

“Ralphie…Ralphie!”

The bottom line is that we need to, as Barney Stinson would say, “Winter suit up!” And nobody dons a winter suit/tuxedo quite like a penguin. What’s more is that a penguin not only looks sharp, but a penguin also knows how to have fun at the same time.

The perfect way to start a Monday.

Have a Dance-Worthy Week!

Having finally watched 2013s, Saving Mr. Banks, which is the story of how the literary favorite “Mary Poppins” finally made its way to the silver screen in 1964 with the entertainingly fascinating steel cage struggle between author P.L. Travers and Walt Disney and his team of upbeat music-writing gurus, one can easily become inspired by Walt’s magical kingdom. Revealed in this cinematic journey is the incredible (and surprisingly unknown) back story of how one of the most popular and highly-regarded Disney films of all-time came to be.

But fear not, no spoilers here. The mention of this movie simply serves as the springboard to reminiscing about a beautiful short-film animation that plays before the 2012 animated feature film Wreck-It Ralph, courtesy of the Disney genius we’ve all come to love.

Just embrace the randomness (though the connection makes sense if you think about it).

Despite living in the midst of the digital era, it’s a pleasure to re-introduce Disney’s, Paperman:

Here’s to hoping for a little magic and wishful thinking today.

It is 11/11 after all…

The Magic of a Tuxedo (Real or Imaginary)

Labor Day is almost here! For many, a long weekend is a spectacular treat. It’s especially true for those going through stressful times at work and/or in their personal lives. This is a time to relax, clear one’s head and refocus priorities. To help you get into the joyful spirit of this weekend, it’s important to remember the value of letting loose through the wonder of dance.

How’s this for a Flashback Friday:

When penguins are involved, life is good!
