Happy Monday!

During a Monday Night Football halftime break, projected on television screens for all to see, fans were blown, blown away…

This new trailer (and pre-sale tickets) has awakened the world yet again to the ever-expanding Star Wars universe. It is ironic, though, how The Force Awakens trailer was scheduled for its big reveal during the halftime of an NFL game. Consider that when the movies first premiered, the football jocks made fun of the science-fiction nerds who were fans of Star Wars.

How the world has changed with help from lightsabers, iconic characters in the ultimate battle of good vs. evil and the force.

And that gold bikini.

Take a Deep Breath…The Future arrives this Wednesday!

Jumping for Joy

(Warning: This is “Awww” overload)

It’s just two days until Christmas. We’re so close! But before Jimmy’s Daily Planet goes into full Christmas-mode, the following video has become a viral sensation for all the best reasons.

When a dog spots its current owner at a doggy day care:

And people say dogs can’t talk? Seems like this one is speaking directly to its owner…and our hearts.

I see how dogs got the title, “Man’s Best Friend.”

Bublé Time is Here

British Columbia-born, big band and Frank Sinatra-inspired singer Michael Bublé will debut his fourth annual “Michael Bublé’s Christmas in New York” television special tonight at 8:00 p.m. on NBC. Thankfully, there is still a modern singer who appreciates the complex simplicity of singing songs with just a microphone and a big band behind him. He writes his own songs and performs classics, which results in performances that positively resonates across the music fan spectrum. The decorations will be festive, the crowd cheerful and the instruments finely tuned. What’s exciting will be the surprise(s) that Michael has thought up for this blossoming Christmas television tradition.

Michael and Idina recently proved they know a thing or two about classy collaborations and surprises:

Baby, it’s almost 8:00 p.m.!

Happy Monday!

Jonah Hill hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time this past weekend. While “JH” was talking about the inception of the casting for “The Wolf of Wall Street,” a surprise guest appeared with something to say.

All in all, it was an SNL monologue of epic proportions. Actually, epic may not be the exact right word. What’s a good synonym for epic?
