Wednesday’s Wet Wake-Up
The first day back to work after a holiday can be rough. That’s the truth. When we’re trying to regain our grip on our non-holiday reality, it can kind of feel like this.
The good news is that Thursday is right around the corner. Then, after Thursday, comes Friday and the weekend. Thankfully, falling in water with a big splash is not only normal on the weekend, but encouraged.
And that’s a cold, wet fact.
Still…Life?
What is it about mannequins that bring us all to life?
Well, it’s partly the movie Mannequin where the mannequin literally came to life…but there’s something else there too, I think.
Late Late Show host James Corden is the latest person to explore this strange (yet hilarious and heart-warming) relationship humans seem to have with mannequins that inevitably leads to telling jokes, singing and dancing in the form of a revamped trailer to the 1987 classic Mannequin.
James Corden definitely figured out how to spice up the magic of a mannequin.
Float Like a Butterfly and…What Like a Bee?
TGIF!
With Friday evening upon us, that means it’s time to hit the town and go out to a nice restaurant with your special someone. The workweek is over. Yes, we can all take a unified breath of relief. Now, the fun of Super Bowl weekend can begin. And what better way to get into the spirit of Friday night and the weekend than a surprise singer who happens to pass by your table with the voice of an angel?
Nothing. There’s nothing better.
But be aware that some of these singers, with their guitars and restaurant theme-appropriate costumes, can offer a performance that really stings all the senses.
All I can say is that needs to be a real restaurant.
Have a Great Weekend.
