Happy Monday

It’s Monday. It’s time to wake up from the weekend (literally and metaphorically).

It’s time for TCB.

TCB: That Creative Brainstorm. There’s no better way to start the workweek.

And that’s how you take care of business.

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.

Happy Monday

Have you ever watched something that seems so ridiculously absurd that…it’s kind of awesome?

Jimmy’s Daily Planet (well, Marvel) has something in this spirit with a music video that’s weird, yet oddly addictive. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but just be sure to stay tuned until the very end. This suggestion is particularly true if you’re a fan of Marvel generally and Guardians of the Galaxy specifically.

Bottom Line: Marvel Studios likes to have unrestrained fun with its movies and viral advertising.

Second Bottom Line: Like Marvel, I hope you have fun this week (with or without David Hasselhoff).

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.

Happy Monday

Mondays are like having lunch in a diner…

The weekend is over and the beginning of the workweek has arrived. The past couple days, filled with fun in the sun in beautiful summer weather, have been written into the history books. And re-acclimating back to our jobs can take a little time to process.

For some people, there’s serious reluctance to acknowledge this reality. If only there was a way to visually explain this struggle with a couple brilliant comedic minds.

In the scene below, consider Richard Lewis to represent Monday and Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David to represent most of us.

Maybe the reason why Mondays can be a little grumpier than most days is because of hunger.

Hunger for just a bit of the courtesy (and delicious food) we show and share with its close friends Sunday and Tuesday.

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.

And you thought “May the Fourth Be With You” was a big deal…

The annual gathering known as Comic Con occurred this past weekend and, once again, delivered to its fans (there in attendance and those watching online) an impressive pop-culture parade of entertaining celebrity interviews, immersive movie and television show experiences and premieres of new trailers for highly-anticipated films.

Steven Spielberg’s next film–

Okay, now that I have your full attention, please enjoy one of those aforementioned exclusive first-look move trailers that debuted this past Saturday at Comic Con in San Diego.

That’s right:

Columbus, OH-IO will be the cinematic pop-culture capital of the world next year!

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.

P.S. Yes, these movies about superheroes matter.
