A Star Only Shines After a Trek Through Many Wars
There may not be a more important word in the world of science-fiction than, “star.”
Exhibit A: The eternally epic debate of Star Trek vs. Star Wars.
Why bring this random piece of information up?
Glad you asked. You see, in life, it’s essential that we are overwhelmingly passionate about at least one thing. And the subject matter isn’t the critical part, but just that you care deeply about something. If you’re lucky, this passion will coincide with your job.
Exhibit B: Jordan Schlansky.
(Warning: There is a bleeped 4-letter word at the beginning and end of this video).
Advice: Put your head into the stars and dream big this week…and in life.
Live long and
“Do or do not. There is no try.”
-Yoda
Yeah, I’m a Star Wars fan.
Should My New Tattoo Read “Dude” or “Sweet”?
Let me set the scene:
It’s the year 2000…
No, not that video from the year 2000. But this other pop-culture phenomenon appears to be gaining steam (or electrical power, depending on your modern transportation preferences) for a miraculous (a word choice that depends on your definition preferences) in the near future.
If your favorite movies include films like The Pianist, then yeah, you’re probably not going to be particularly excited here…
or maybe you will happy to hear this developing news. Hey, my favorite movies range from Dumb and Dumber to the mind-bending cinematic epics of Christopher Nolan. It’s important not to judge a book by its cover.
Unless that book cover contains the name, “L. Ron Hubbard.”
Either way, any excuse to bring back those Adidas track suits again, we should all be for such a catalyst.
FYI – Seriously Dude, Where’s My Car? needs to happen!
WHEATies: The Breakfast of Champions…Eventually
When will our grand “moment” in life happen? This is one of the biggest questions people want to know, along with finding our one true love. And for most people, both of these variables in life of paramount importance have no GPS option or Uber driver with an ETA. Nope, we’re the driver with no map on strange roads with no cell service in the making-it-up-as-we-go-along-in-the-dark approach.
Comforting? Not exactly. However, according to comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, patience is a virtue.
Plus, posing for a hilarious modeling picture will lead to your dream coming true…in 19 some odd years.
Congrats to Sebastian Maniscalco who finally made it to the big time in LA.
P.S. Find yourself some wheat this weekend and have your life changed!
The Ultimate Face-Off
Nicolas Cage needs to be a surprise guest star on The Big Bang Theory.
And by surprise, I mean a total surprise for the audience and Howard Wolowitz Simon Helberg. That way, Mr. Helberg’s castmates, who know his impression skills, would step aside and shine the brightest spotlight on these two actors taking center stage sitcom-style for a truly epic showdown of comedic talents starring Nicolas Cage and…Nicolas Cage.
This comedic duel would redefine the real Nicolas Cage’s famous 1997 film Face/Off.
Don’t believe that the world needs this specific pairing on primetime television?
Here’s a sample of Mr. Helberg’s work involving Nicolas Cage, as well as a couple other bonus impressions.
At some point during the upcoming season, Chuck Lorre should call Nicolas Cage, Billy Baldwin and Ben Stiller for an unforgettable “Sweeps Week” event.
And, if approached the right way, this golden TV moment could be as simple as A-B-C…
all the way to Z.
