A Chef, an Actor, and a Mute Walk into a Cabin…

United Airlines.

After audibly sighing in disgust, remember that not all airlines are the same. Most airlines may feel the same and may seem the same, but there some airlines that truly rise above the rest and genuinely believe its passengers should enjoy their flight in the friendly skies.

And British Airways, for example, wants to take you into friendly skies with a laugh or two in the form of a safety video with unlikely safety instructors…

promoting a heartwarming cause.

Also, Mr. Bean for the win! Or, as Mr. Bean would say (enter 10 hilariously entertaining seconds of silence).

Mr. Bean, Mr. Bean, the magical comic, the more you see him in a seat, the more you hoot (with laughter).

Nobody Can Replicate (or Replicant?) That Response

Harrison Ford is awesome.

That pitch-perfect response by Mr. Ford was delivered this past weekend at Comic Con 2017 in San Diego, California. When arguably the greatest action movie star in cinematic history decides to return to his iconic characters 20-30 years later (well, 32 for Star Wars), it’s a blessing for himself and fans alike. Harrison Ford was great in The Force Awakens and looks fit and ready for a brutal fight in Blade Runner 2049.

And, if rumors are true, fans will jump for joy when the next Indiana Jones movie returns to theaters with Mr. Ford and an indie film director by the name of Steven Spielberg in just a few years time.

In the spirit of this blog post, we should ask ourselves “WWHFS?”

Answer: Whatever it is, you can bet your ass it’ll be awesome.

Like his movies.

Happy Monday

And you thought “May the Fourth Be With You” was a big deal…

The annual gathering known as Comic Con occurred this past weekend and, once again, delivered to its fans (there in attendance and those watching online) an impressive pop-culture parade of entertaining celebrity interviews, immersive movie and television show experiences and premieres of new trailers for highly-anticipated films.

Steven Spielberg’s next film–

Okay, now that I have your full attention, please enjoy one of those aforementioned exclusive first-look move trailers that debuted this past Saturday at Comic Con in San Diego.

That’s right:

Columbus, OH-IO will be the cinematic pop-culture capital of the world next year!

Have a Better Week Than Last Week.

P.S. Yes, these movies about superheroes matter.

The Other D-Day (Dunkirk-Day) is Here

Christopher Nolan’s newest film has arrived in theaters across the country. And today’s blog post is fairly short and sweet going into this weekend:

Go see Dunkirk in IMAX.

‘Dunkirk’ Is a Tour de Force War Movie, Both Sweeping and Intimate (Manohla Dargis, The New York Times)

A spare, propulsive, ever-intensifying combat thriller, Nolan’s history lesson is both a rousing celebration of solidarity and the tensest beach-set film since Jaws (Nick De Semlyen, Empire online)

‘Dunkirk’ chronicles heroism during WWII rescue with beauty and intensity (

The Bottom Line: A stunning victory (Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter)

For history’s sake, please go see Dunkirk this weekend.
