Happy Monday!
Awkwardness + Nervousness + A Little Imagination =
Freddie Mercury would be proud.
Will you be a rock star today and this week?
Happy Monday!
Seeing is Believing (Literally)
It’s Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Do you know what that means? Well, something incredible occurred last night/really early this morning (by definition) that warrants a visual repeat.
Ladies and gentlemen, it all started with a challenge from The Office’s John Krasinski during Jimmy Fallon’s tenure at Late Night. Now, after a few other participants (like the eternally energetic Joseph Gordon-Levitt) have tried their luck at channeling their inner rock star, comedy and musical aficionado Paul Rudd took the Late Night tradition to its premiere on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night with two lip-synching masterpieces.
However, it also needs to be stated that Jimmy Fallon’s skills would never be considered foreign to any lip-synching fan.
And yes, this really happened.
Paul Rudd and Jimmy Fallon were unequivocally good to the audience as lip sync heroes for the fans in the studio and for the millions of people watching at home.
The best news from the continuous success of these lip-sync battles? They will be happening again and again and again!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
February 14th celebrates Saint Valentine. In 2014, this holiday is usually celebrated in the form of delicious chocolates (maybe York Peppermint Patties?), red roses, a romantic, candlelit dinner at a fancy restaurant and maybe a surprise or two depending on the gentleman or the woman. This is the perfect day to do something completely unexpected, amazing and heartwarming that will solidify just how much you care for the most important person in your life, married or dating.
What to do? What to do?
One of the best suggestions Jimmy’s Daily Planet can give to all the lovers out there is to do something subtle and nonchalant…after all, making a big, spectacular scene would totally be the wrong way to go and would be the complete opposite of something unforgettably awesome, right?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy Monday!
Now that we are firmly in 2014 with 2013 in the rear view mirror, we can focus our attention on what we want to accomplish in this new year. There will be new goals, new aspirations, new dreams and hopefully (for those looking) new love.
Yet, there are perhaps a couple past traditions that will be welcomed back with open arms and a nice glass of wine or sherry…
Last night was the first time in more than a month that a particular show returned to its weekly reruns on the Hallmark Channel for what appears to be another year of exceptionally witty dialogue, fancy tastes, heartache, love and countless laugh-out-loud moments.
Ladies and gentleman, the moment has come once again to serve those tossed salads and scrambled eggs!
Hey Baby, I Hear that Jimmy’s Daily Planet is Wishing You a Happy Monday…Mercy!
