Happy Monday!

Like the instrumental below, no words are needed for this defining 1993 John Williams composition that is pure genius.

We don’t know what the new theme song and soundtrack for Jurassic World will sound like with its new composer, Michael Giacchino. Hearing it for the first time this Friday will be exciting. And as is commonplace in following John Williams, nothing but the musical summit of Everest will need to be reached. It will be a thrill to finally see/hear if this forthcoming summer blockbuster can come close with its soundtrack inevitably compared to the masterpiece above.

Have a Great Week and Spare No Expense!

Happy Monday!

Carly Rae Jepsen had an incredible challenge to follow up her 2012 summer smash hit, “Call Me Maybe.” After collaborating with Owl City for a good time, the pressure mounted for her next equally sensational single. Even though the following music video debuted a couple months ago, it can take a little time for a song to catch on.

And it has.

It’s the impossibly cute Carly Rae Jespen (I’ll call you, maybe?) and Hollywood’s Leading Man: Mr. Tom Hanks.

Nearly 42 million views so far…not bad.

Have a Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Good Week!

May The Fourth Be With You!

As stated on the Star Wars website:

One of the earliest known records of “May the 4th” used in popular culture is in 1979, as described here by author Alan Arnold while he was chronicling the making of The Empire Strikes Back for Lucasfilm:

Friday, May 4

“Margaret Thatcher has won the election and become Britain’s first woman prime minister. To celebrate their victory her party took a half page of advertising space in the London Evening News. This message, referring to the day of victory, was ‘May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations,’ further proof of the extent to which Star Wars has influenced us all.”

For fans of puns, May 4th is a fun day.

For millions of Star Wars fans, May 4th is a special day.

For all who enter this intersection of celebrating what has elevated into a pop culture holiday of sorts, hopefully you’ve prepared a entertaining way to honor the greatest story that takes place in a galaxy far, far away…

Forty-nine+ million views of this trailer is still not enough. It’s ~8 months until the force awakens for a seventh time in the Star Wars live-action cinematic universe (December 25th). The following trailer is the most exciting thing to happen to this space-sized franchise in perhaps decades. Time to get practical, non-CGI chills on this warm Monday in May:

Happy Star Wars Day!

Happy Monday!

David Hasselhoff has a new music video and it’s not an exaggeration to say it’s crazy-awesome-ridiculous for all the right reasons. At the very moment when you think it can’t get any more absurdly risible, he takes it to another level.

Take a deep breath before watching this video:

Have a Hasselhoff-Caliber Week!
