When Will Player 2 Be Ready?
‘Ready Player One’ was an awesome movie experience–in 2D and 3D–visualized for the silver screen by legendary director Steven Spielberg from the literary imagination of Spielbergian author Ernest Cline. And the critical success, as well as the box office success, naturally sparks the question:
Will there be a ‘Ready Player Two’ film?
The comprehensive success of the film supports the notion of a sequel. Yes. But it’s the Oasis and what this wildly imaginative virtual world has become since the events of the first film or book (insert your storytelling preference here) that really justifies the necessity for an IMAX-sized sequel.

‘Maniac’ Looks Superbad
A brand new Netflix series titled ‘Maniac’ looks superbad in a good way.
With a cast led by ‘Superbad’ co-stars Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, along with Sally Field and Justin Theroux, ‘Maniac’ looks like an entertaining mind trip. Escaping into this show appears oddly comforting as a creative yet twisted cognitive wonderland.
Haven’t we all said sang, “I’m a maniac, maniac I sure know” to ourselves?
‘Maniac’ premieres September 21 on Netflix.

New Flight Mission: Possible
Yes, yes and YES.
A to-be-named ‘Top Gun’ sequel is officially happening. And, more importantly, this sequel is currently filming with stars of the original classic movie in Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer.
Just let that sink in for a moment because, for many of us, that 1986 action thrill-ride set in motion our perspective of Naval fighter pilots.
It’s just awesome that a sequel has been set in motion…
into the ‘danger zone.’
