Happy Monday!

The net worth of Bill Gates: $101.3 billion.

The net worth of Warren Buffett: $83.5 billion.

The price of a medium Dairy Queen Blizzard Treat: $4.09.

The price of a large Dairy Queen Blizzard Treat: $4.69.

With a price like that — the Blizzard, not the net worth — how could you not go for the large at Dairy Queen? Another thing that makes sense is that when you love what you do (or what you invest in, according to Mr. Buffett), good things will happen.

And how can you not love watching two titans of industry working at Dairy Queen for the day?

Well, that was a strange time for a couple of admired American billionaires. At least now Mr. Buffett knows what the upside down is…

P.S. There’s also this moment of pure gold.

Well played, Bill Gates.

Today’s Dateline: June 3, 2019.

The host of NBC’s ‘Dateline’: Keith Morrison.

The comedian who portrayed ‘Dateline’ host Keith Morrison on Saturday Night Live: Bill Hader.

NBC’s Today Show reporter Willie Geist does a Sunday morning program that includes reporting on current events as well as an interview with a power player or celebrity called “Sunday Sitdown.” Yesterday’s edition featured a sitdown with SNL great Bill Hader in which the hilarious impressionist and comedic actor — and now dramatic actor — discussed his wild and crazy journey to SNL that launched an equally wild and crazy acting career.

Ohhh…Well, that was fascinating. It’s safe to say Bill killed it…

Hopefully, you’ll leave an entertaining impression on the coming days.

Happy Monday!

The end of the acclaimed CBS sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ isn’t theoretical. It’s happening. And this Thursday’s hour-long series finale will cap the popular CBS sitcom’s incredible 12-year journey.

My personal attachment to this show will be revealed this week before the finale. For now, it’s time to start (as the band Europe would say) “the final countdown.”

One of the recurring guest stars on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ is Bob Newhart. Hmmm…

Happy Monday!

From beginning to end, Adam Sandler gave comedy fans a memorable performance as host of ‘Saturday Night Live.’

‘SNL’ great Adam Sandler hosted his former show for the first time this weekend. There were many, many ways — and by this, I mean characters — the writers and cast could have approached his long-awaited, triumphant return. Surprisingly, there weren’t too many throwbacks to characters from Adam Sandler’s glory days at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. But make no mistake, the return of Opera Man at Weekend Update, for instance, was funny in ways that only the Sandman could deliver.

From singing his opening monologue…

to singing as the iconic Opera Man…

and his emotional acoustic tribute to close the show…

Adam Sandler proved why he’s a still such a fan favorite after all of the years as he combines humor with heart in pointed yet good-natured punchlines.

And while NBC’s timing and rationale for Adam Sandler’s firing (along with Chris Farley and Chris Rock) still makes absolutely no sense, NBC’s timing and rationale for bringing Adam Sandler back to ‘SNL’ — sparked by the success of his Netflix stand-up special titled ‘Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh’ — were pitch-perfect.
