Tom Is Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’ in Latest ‘Mission’

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to go to your local movie theater…a lot.

During the next three months–last week of May through July–there are a few indie films in Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (June 22and Mission: Impossible – Fallout (July 27that will be hitting theaters nationally and globally. For any summer blockbuster-loving movie fan, this lineup of beloved franchises is insane. Almost as insane as the official trailer for the latter movie in the list above that recently debuted online.

Yes.

Sometimes the most appropriate reaction is just that simple.

It’s Not Theoretical: The Big Bang Theory Has Heart

FYI If you have not seen the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, watch the show before watching the deleted scene below.

After that special Big Bang Theory season 11 finale last night, it’s time to let everything sink in. All of the cameos, the story, surprises, plus the fact that this wonderful sitcom has been on the air for 11 seasons. Will season 12 be the final year? The answer is very likely yes. But we’re getting way ahead of ourselves with that right now.

Right now–as in right now–watch a very sweet deleted scene from last night’s episode. Trust me. The showrunners have been promoting this moment throughout today for fans everywhere to check out. And for good reason.

Few other sitcoms these days pull the heartstrings quite like The Big Bang Theory.

Congratulations Amy & Sheldon (ShAmy) in the fictional world and, once again, RIP Stephen Hawking in the real world. At least for a brief moment in time, those two worlds were joined together.

The Original Quiet Place

What could should have been…

The new trailer for a canceled show debuted online today. That’s a weird sentence.

For some unknown reason, the Tremors TV show on Syfy was canceled before given a chance to explode out of the ground floor with its beloved, nostalgic power-player. Kevin Bacon, the star of the original 1990 Tremors film–and the six-degrees of separation guy–had surprisingly signed on to make a non-HBO and non-network reboot of the cult classic. Yes, Syfy, which is the same channel that produced all those Sharknado movies (they are fun to watch for how awesomely bad they are with acute self-awareness).

Now, is this TV adaptation officially dead in the desert of Perfection, Nevada? With all the streaming options out there–and based on the potential from this trailer and its big-name leading man–this show may pop-up somewhere else in the near future with new life.

Someplace more perfect than Syfy.

The Three Rs of Heckling

If being heckled–for whatever reason in some form or another–was a day of the week, it would be Wednesday. Why? Because we’ve gotten through Monday and Tuesday, and we’re feeling pretty good about the week. Then, just at that moment, it happens. The party appears to have been broken up.

The very funny John Mulaney can relate.

Now it’s time to regain our composure for Thursday for what will, hopefully, lead to a Friday night with that well-earned cash money…

for the beer truck.
