Harmonizing a Kaleidoscopic Future

Coldplay’s future is…

“A Head Full of Dreams” was released today for the world to hear and experience. Unlike their previous album “Ghost Stories” (with the exception of one song), Chris Martin and Co. have returned with mostly upbeat, dancing tempos, imaginatively playful lyrics and a positive feeling of being happy no matter what life throws at us.

As Coldplay would say, it’s about finding and hanging onto our everglow.

Now, Chris Martin said that this album could be the band’s last musical journey during an interview several months ago.

Like the highly-lauded and extensive Harry Potter series, is this the end for Coldplay?

Well, the last song on the record is called, “Up&Up.”

Coldplay’s Dreamscape

Your adventure of a lifetime has arrived.

Coldplay, taking charge of the Internet this morning, announced that their 7th studio album “A Head Full of Dreams” will be released to the world on December 4, 2015. And the Brits are continuing their tradition with yet another track list filled with imaginative song titles.

  • A Head Full of Dreams
  • Birds
  • Hymn for the Weekend
  • Everglow
  • Adventure of a Lifetime
  • Fun
  • Kaleidoscope
  • Army of One
  • Amazing Day
  • Colour Spectrum
  • Up&Up

The new single sounds like Coldplay because of Chris Martin and his playful lyrics, but it doesn’t sound like Coldplay because they are taking chances with their newest song and not staying in their comfort zone Ramones-style.

These Brits have always expanded their musical vision with every record they conceptualize. Each album moves in an excitingly experimental direction.

Here’s our first glimpse into what’s been bouncing around the dreaming heads of Coldplay.

In one month, we’ll hear where this adventure will lead to…

Happy Monday!

In my scarecrow dreams,
When they smash my heart into smithereens,
Be a bright red rose come bursting the concrete.
Be a cartoon heart,
Light a fire, a fire, a spark
Light a fire, a flame in my heart.
We’ll run wild,
We’ll be glowing in the dark

Coldplay has many, many hit songs. Some are slow and emotional and others build to a celebratory pinnacle. “Charlie Brown” combines both of these dynamics for a sound (and reaction) of inspiring brilliance.

This is especially true live in concert…

I was lucky enough to see this Coldplay tour in the picturesque setting of The Hollywood Bowl in May of 2012. The environment was just like the video above. It was crazy awesome.

Have an Animated Week!

Happy Monday!

Coldplay just released a new song today called, “Miracles,” which was written for the major motion picture, Unbroken.

It’s a new song from Coldplay. Enjoy!

Have a Miraculous Week!
