The Practicality of a Summer Blockbuster Is Alive & Well
Ladies and gentlemen, ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ is going to be good…
really good.
This is a brand new kind of blog post:
“Throwforward Thursday.”
On that note, ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout,’–the sixth film in the cinematic franchise–premieres in theaters on Friday, July 27.
Happy Monday!
Tom Cruise has taken his stunt work to dizzying new heights.
The following video that was recently released online documents the extensive and difficult development of an insane movie stunt for Mission: Impossible – Fallout. While the action flick does not hit theaters until July 27, it’s not too early to get excited about all the practical effects and practical stunts that were used in this exciting new film.
Here’s Tom Cruise falling jumping out of an airplane in the most Tom Cruise way possible.
This movie is going to be something pretty incredible, if only for the stunts alone.
Have a Better Week Than Last Week.
Tom Is Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’ in Latest ‘Mission’
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to go to your local movie theater…a lot.
During the next three months–last week of May through July–there are a few indie films in Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (June 22) and Mission: Impossible – Fallout (July 27) that will be hitting theaters nationally and globally. For any summer blockbuster-loving movie fan, this lineup of beloved franchises is insane. Almost as insane as the official trailer for the latter movie in the list above that recently debuted online.
Yes.
Sometimes the most appropriate reaction is just that simple.
Looks Practically Impossible. And Yet…
If you thought Tom Cruise’s stunt scaling the Burj Khalifa in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was insane…
I’m trying to find words, but this is one of those videos that speaks for itself.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout premieres July 27.
