Happy Presidents Day!

Why do we celebrate Presidents Day?

I’m so glad you asked.

Yesterday is history and tomorrow is (I won’t finish that). Anyways, we can never forget where we come from and how we got here. In the infinite age of information, it’s easy to ignore certain facts and realities. However, until we grasp the rich and consequential, yet still relatively youthful nature of the United States, our future as Americans will involve more mysteries and uncertainties than we may care to accept.

The presidency is a uniquely powerful, influential institution. Only 44 individuals have served in this position, which underscores the need for the best of us to lead this country.

If only George Washington or Abraham Lincoln could be on the ballot in 2016. The American people would happily take a Washington or Lincoln understudy.

Can Daniel Day-Lewis act like he was born in the USA?

I know, stupid question.

Of course he can!

A Must-See Curtain Call

Cheers to Frasier, the show born out of a familiar name,
led Frasier, Niles, Marty, Eddie, Roz, Daphne, tossed salads and scrambled eggs to eternal fame
But before the beer and sherry can be drunk, everyone must get a ride to the show,
this is where taking a Taxi comes in handy, like a regular Joe
Mike & Molly will need a ride and be sure to cut them some slack,
news of being cancelled is sad, until they see…just Jack!
Then there’s this bang that’s pretty big, with science and comic books galore,
knock three times and you might be surprised at who opens that purple door…

The legendary sitcom director James Burrows is being celebrated by his extended, iconic NBC family later this month during a television special. James Burrows was the man behind the camera of some of the biggest and best sitcoms in television history. He framed some of the shows during NBC’s supreme, “Must See TV” era, including the famous yellow door frame from Friends.

Celebrating his storied legacy in television directing seems like a pretty good place to get together an incredible cast of favorite TV stars who are best known as cherished characters in our hearts. This gathering will, in fact, include renowned characters Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey and Phoebe together, in one place, akin to a coffee house couch on NBC.

Chandler’s in England for a play…

and Boddingtons Pale Ale.

Happy Monday!

A dream that cannot be interrupted by even the coldest of temperatures…

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is our yearly reminder (though it should be daily) of Dr. King’s seismic call to action to the American people for a better future, including the pursuit of equality favoring character above skin color.

Any writer can attempt to recapture his profound message and legacy, but perhaps it’s best to leave it to the man himself.

Keep dreaming for a better tomorrow.
